It is a tradition in our family to perform, "Twas the Night Before Christmas." We have been doing this play every Christmas Eve since I can remember. My mom has pictures of my sister and I as reindeers, sugar plum fairies, mice, Santa, etc. Needless to say, we are all grown now, but continue the tradition with our children. Chase was having a bit of a dilema deciding whether he wanted to be a mouse (rat to him) or a reindeer. He just decided to be both. He wished to be called "The "Rat" Reindeer." The most humorous part was when I read, "Not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse." Upon his cue, he came out of the corner and growled at everyone. A very mouse-like, excuse me, rat-like thing to do!
Chase with his cousins Alyse and Miranda. These three are seriously the "Three Musketeers!" This picture was snapped shortly before they pulled one another down to the ground and began laughing hysterically!
Chase always has a way of talking adults into playing board games with him. Christmas Eve was no exception. He got my cousins to sit down and play "Neighboorhood Sounds Bingo" with him. Kristen won the game and everyone had to get up and pretend that they were in a parade. Pegs won the next game, and Chase reminded her to say, "Good Try!" to the rest of the players. Out of the mouths of babes...

Miranda had so much that night. The next day, when we were with the other side of the family, she kept asking for Chase!
